I asked some of our teens and leaders a few questions regarding their involvement in Youth Ministry.  I would like to share a few of those responses with you over the next few weeks. Youth Ministry cannot happen without a supporting parish and one thing you all do is step up and support our youth within this ministry.   - Tom Clark

Lizzie Reed – Age 22
From Tom: I chose to begin with Lizzie because she was one of the four teens that helped me get youth ministry started here at St. Joseph. Lizzie now assists me as an assistant and is attending Sacred Heart Ma-jor Seminary pursuing a Pastoral Studies degree. This is important because it allows you to see just how your support ministers to and impacts our youth. I also chose her first because she’ll probably hit me for doing so.
How long have you been a member of the St. Joseph Youth Group?
I have been with this group for 7 years
What is something you enjoy about being in the Youth Group?
I really enjoy helping the teens learn about and grow in their faith. It’s great to watch the teens grow in faith and confidence. I too, love to see them having a great time helping others and becoming friends with one another.
What is something you enjoy about St. Joseph Church?
I love being a member of this parish. I have grown up in this Church and everyone here is like family. It’s great to come here and feel right at home.
