FOR THOSE NEW TO OUR PROGRAM:
Admission into the Faith Formation Program (FFP) is open to all the children in the area wanting to learn about their Catholic Faith.
At the time of registration, any child not baptized at St. Joseph Church, Trenton, must present their original Baptismal Certificate. (A copy will be madeand the original returned to you.) If you do not have your certificate, please contact the Church of Baptism and they will provide one for you.
Our requirements are the same as local school district policies. Children in our Kindergarten program must be 5 years old on or before October 1st of that year. First graders must be 6 years old on or before October 1st of that year.
Students who transfer into FFP from other parishes are asked to provide a letter from the previous program that they were enrolled in. This letter should include attendance records, grades/years completed at parish and sacramental information.
We try to limit class size to approximately 15 students. This allows each catechist to establish a personal relationship with each student.
QUESTIONS? Contact our Faith Formation Office at 676-9082 Ext. 21.
SAFETY POLICY: The leadership of our Faith Formation Program along with our catechists are constantly looking for new and improved ways to keep our students in a safe environment. We are allowing parents/guardians to wait for their children in the Activity Center hallway (between the gym and dining room). The children will be dismissed at the gate leading to this area. If you would prefer to wait outside for your child, please indicate that on the form sent home with the registration packet. This form MUST be filled out, one for each child, and turned in to your child’s catechist by the first week of class. Thank you for your understanding and support.
